1. How do you go up the waterfall at the beginning where Lara looks at it? I tried jumping on slopes with L and R moves to get to the corner flat places, but to no avail. Is there an easier way later in the level?
2. Are there any secrets in the areas before using the courtyard key?
(EDIT: I found the desert eagle and lasersight.}

1. Where is the silver secret (I have the gold and emerald secrets)?
2. What is the correct pathway to get to the building at the top of the waterfall?
3. Did you ever get a crossbow before the end of the Enchanted Woods level?
I am currently at a dead end because I can't use the slopes to get to the flat ledge to let me climb up above the waterfall.

The silver one is where you used the lever to get to the golden one. Run back and the door is open.
And yes, you have to use the slopes to get up above the waterfall. -

Following your help, I went back and got the silver secret. It is much easier to get to it this time in the flooded rooms and with all the cages moved. At least it wasn't blocked like the emerald secret in the first level.
I'll keep trying to get up the waterfall, but it is not easy to do L/R curve jumps in TEN with the keyboard (it is much easier in TR4).
EDIT: I finally made it to the top of the waterfall!!! It wasn't easy, but I got lucky.

Ich hatte im ganzen Spiel keine lags.
Da empfiehlt es sich aus dem Spiel rauszugehen und das Spiel neu zu starten.
Vielleicht hat der LB in der Version 4 etwas geändert

Das mit dem "neu starten" hat nicht gebracht....
ich denke es liegt an meinem alten PC inkl. Grafikkarte.....
So ist es für mich unmöglich, Lara in Zeitlupenmodus zu Spielen... es war schon eine sehr grosse Herausforderung beim Wasserfall da hoch zu kommen. Auch das herunterfahren mit dem Motorrad war erst nach x-Versuche möglich. Hinzu kommt noch dieses
Skelett mit dem 2xTR... das gibt mir den Rest....(Gitterkäfig, Mauer mit den 2Schalter)Jetzt mache ich erstmal Pause

I don't have a solution, but a few observations. I played that level in version 3 and later in version 9. In both cases there were some lag issues in certain places if Lara moves too fast or does too many things at once. The area with the waterfall, the gladiator's message there, and the use of the motorbike to go down the hill was a problem with lags or possible bugs. In one try, I even got a game bug with infinite health that would not go away and lasted into the Oriab level. The solution was to go back to an earlier save after just reaching the top of the waterfall but not going forward to the gladiator.
Neltharion never states exactly why he made each update. Except for the "Empty Slot" bug, I suspect Version 1 was basically stable but had a few object errors or design bugs. Version 9 also appears to be stable without the "Empty Slot" bug, and it may remain the download version (knock on wood!). Neltharion created version 5 to use the newer TEN 1.9 engine, but he still got the savegame bug ("Empty Slot") so he downgraded to the TEN 1.8 engine used in versions 1 and 9. He probably tried using the newer TEN 1.9 engine to improve the lag issues, but he didn't know how to fix the savegame bug problem in that engine. Perhaps he would have had to rebuild parts of the level, so he went back to TEN 1.8. Thus, the lag issues are still there IF they are due to the use of any TEN engine and not TR4.
In "Ex Oblivione" versions 3 and 9, there are very serious lag issues in fighting the T-Rex, especially if pistols are used, in the River Naraxa level.
Regarding the PC computer itself, I don't know what technical specs are required, but generally Windows 10 machines should work ok. I know Nad is using Windows 7 without problems, but I could never get TEN to work on Windows 7.

Re TEN itself:
I think TEN may be fine for technically beautiful textures and large game area maps, but TR4 sometimes provides a more friendly playable experience.
Also, some new game moves in TR4 like long jumps are apparently not in TEN.
TEN still needs a lot of work to be the ideal customlevel game engine. It also desperately needs an online game manual of all moves, etc. similar to what Stella has for the official TR games on tombraider.net

Nun ich habe schon alles ausgeschaltet. (siehe screen) Version 4
denoch ging es jetzt endlich weiter, aber immer noch mit diesen Lags (kommen wenn lara den Hintergrund und den Texturen Wand/Mauer, sieht... denke: Wegen den vielen Details die da dargestellt bzw. berechnet werden müssen von der GPU=Grafikkarte)

I spoke too soon in my last post. Neltharion just released version 10 of the game on TR Customs with no explanation as to why!


However, version 9 has been working ok without any significant gameplay or savegame issues through at least the beginning of the "Fortress of Thorabon" level (level 13 of 15) with TEN engine 1.8.1.0.
EDIT:
The log file in the download file states that version 10 now uses TEN engine 1.9.1.0 again, and all levels were updated. Thus, that version is only for new players who download the game starting today. Maybe that version will be stable or have new unanticipated bugs. Time will tell!
